Second project of co-operation with associations based in Tetuan. From 29th of March to 7th of April 2002

The journey was financed by each one of the participants

Objectives:

1. Going in to the different schools of the area to carry out sight prevention tests to the children in school age

2. Carrying out visual controls to the most needy population, always selected previously by the different associations that work in the area

3. Moving to towns without medical or visual assistance, accompanied by doctors of the country, to take care of people with problems of health and visual needs

4. Handing out school material to the people in charge of the ministry of education for its later distribution

Projects:

  •  To carry on collecting school material to take out to the poorest schools
  •  To continue work on the sight and health fields to prevent avoidable blindness in the north of Morocco

The glasses were sent to Ceuta in June 2002. There they were collected by the AJMADEC president (association of Moroccan youth for the development and the cooperation), who took responsibility of its later delivery to each one of the beneficiaries.
